IRS Says Taxpayers Will Have to Pay Back Certain Credits in New Alert

The Supreme Court cleared the way Friday for cities to enforce bans on homeless people sleeping outside in public places, overturning a California appeals court ruling that found such laws amount to cruel and unusual punishment when shelter space is lacking. In Anchorage it has been used as a reason why large, often dangerous, homeless camps have been allowed to thrive.

Oklahoma officials announced a move to require the Bible to be taught in public schools and lessons on the religious text would be added to the foundational texts in school curriculum.
