NH Has Second Lowest Tax Burden in U.S., New Analysis Shows

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court decided on Friday that cities can enforce bans on homeless people sleeping outdoors, even in West Coast areas where shelter space is lacking.

The June 18 sale was canceled because The Florida Times-Union failed to file proof of publication before the statutory deadline.

In a case likely to have broad ramifications throughout the West, the court found an Oregon city’s penalties did not violate the Constitution’s prohibition on “cruel and unusual punishment.”
